Summary of Baptism

Baptism is a visually poetic short film that explores a man's internal struggle with identity, guilt, and rebirth. Haunted by his past, he isolates himself in a dimly lit room, wrestling with shadows of addiction, trauma, and self-doubt. As memories flicker and his darker self emerges, he confronts his reflection and chooses transformation. At dawn, he enters a misty lake, symbolising a spiritual awakening. Submerged, he battles a violent version of himself, reliving moments of pain and release. Emerging reborn, he walks into the light, cleansed, free, and full of new purpose. The film uses symbolic visuals, stylised cinematography, and cinematic AI techniques to capture a journey of inner resurrection.
